As a school, we are grateful for what we have here at Upper Batley; the very best staff team, brilliant resources, excellent facilities and amazing young people.

We are fortunate as a school community and wish to help and support others who are less privileged than us. Recently, we have held various events and activities to help raise funds to support families in need. Such as; bake sales, collecting donations, preparing hampers and collecting food and toiletry items to give out to the local community. 

This week, three of our amazing young learners have led assemblies and appealed for donations for our local food bank. They planned, prepared and delivered a presentation to each year group to explain what items the food bank is short of and how their fellow learners can help. This demonstrates great leadership and commitment as well as self-confidence to present to large audiences. These young people truly are fantastic ambassadors of our school community and we're extremely proud of them.
