Last week marked a significant milestone for our Year 11 learners as they completed their final GCSE examinations. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of them for the dedication, resilience, and determination they have shown throughout this challenging time. On behalf of everyone at Upper Batley High School, I would like to congratulate them for all their efforts and wish them every success in the exciting journeys that lie ahead. We hope all our learners secure their first-choice destinations over the coming weeks.

As we approach the final weeks of the academic year, our focus now turns to ensuring a smooth and successful transition for all other year groups. We expect every learner to approach their next stage with a positive mindset, ready to build on the progress they have made and embrace the opportunities that come with a new academic year. We also look forward to welcoming our new Year 7 cohort on Transition day (Tuesday 1 July) where they will have a taster of secondary education in their (soon to be) new home at Upper Batley.
