Online Safety

Learners are regularly updated with comprehensive online safety guidance throughout their experience here. We deliver key messages via our online safety lessons as part of the Computing and PHSCE curriculum. Assemblies, Aspire tutor time programme and AC (Alternative Curriculum) days are also used as opportunities to update learners on online safety. The Deputy Headteacher in school is a CEOP accredited trainer and, along with the Computing lead, ensures learners, parents and staff within the school receive appropriate advice and guidance.

The school has a secure network and ICT facilities that filter our internet and email systems to ensure learners and staff are safe when utilizing the ICT systems.

We are committed to raising online safety awareness among our parents and local community, and regularly hold training sessions to provide advice that will assist you to keep your child safe when using ICT devices at home. The CEOP and ThinkUKnow links below provide further online safety advice.

If you would like further information, please contact the main reception at the school who will direct you appropriately.
