Imagine being able to explore, discover and experience learning in an outside environment. You have just imagined Forest School. Learners learn new skills from climbing trees safely to how to use a knife and bow saw.

The focus is on team work and sharing thoughts and ideas. Very quickly Forest School members become a team and support one another in the various tasks. In the past we have built shelters, students enhanced them by finding wood to make seats and tables.

We cook food over an open fire and we also teach crafts such as making dream catchers.

Currently our new Forest Café area is under construction and is being built by our learners (see photos below) with supervision, of course.
