Our learners and staff have made an absolutely tremendous start to the new school year. Our Transition Week last week was a very positive experience for our whole school community. The staggered return to school enabled our learners to re-engage with school life, reengage with their learning and familiarise themselves with our new routines and protocols. Thank you to all families for your on-going support in ensuring your son has a successful start to the new term.
As you will understand, this is a challenging time for all schools all around the country, and in fact all around the world. With this in mind, we would like to remind our families that if your son, or anyone else living in the same household, are displaying symptoms of Covid-19, the advice would be to follow the Government guidance. The link is given below.
We would like to reassure you that we will act swiftly and appropriately should we need to temporarily close any of our bubbles, and will follow all procedures, in line with national guidance and Kirklees Local Authority advice. As ever the safety of all our learners, our staff team and our whole community are of paramount importance.
We have produced a Batley Bubble Booklet which we hope answers any questions or queries you may have. As always we are here for you and please do not hesitate to contact your son's Year Leader or our main school reception on 01924 326343, if you have any queries or questions. We are always here to help and assist you in any way we can. We also have a wide range of different methods of communication such as our school website, school app, weekly newsletter, letters to families, weekly Headteacher's Blog and parent text message service.
