The successful candidate will have experience of working with children / young people in a school environment, with proven success in using teaching resources and supporting learners. Knowledge of the national curriculum is also essential. 

Educated to A-level standard or equivalent, the successful applicant will have good organisation and communication skills and can work well in a team. The role will involve providing support and guidance to individuals, individual groups or on a whole class basis through curriculum activities. The post will be based at Upper Batley High School however the successful candidate may be asked to work across Batley Multi Academy Trust.

LUNCHTIME SUPERVISOR 5 HOURS PER WEEK TERM TIME Grade 3 (Plus market rate supplement) - £2,126 To commence January 2020 (Field Lane Junior Infant & Nursery School)

At Field Lane Junior, Infant and Primary School we take great pride in educating children in a friendly, challenging, exciting and purposeful environment.  A vacancy has arisen for a temporary Lunchtime Supervisor to work at Field Lane Junior, Infant and Primary School to join our friendly and welcoming school.  

The role will be within our Lunchtime Supervisor team and will report to the Headteacher.  

The successful applicant must be able to demonstrate excellent communication skills as the role will involve encouraging children to have a positive attitude towards healthy eating and engaging children in conversation in the playground.  The postholder will be responsible for the supervision of students on the school site throughout the lunchtime break. The post holder will also assist in securing the health, safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils and support the practices and procedures of the school. 

Previous experience would be an advantage, but not essential. 

The hours of work will be Monday to Friday 12:15 pm - 1:15 pm each day - 5 hours per week worked term time only.
