On what is often named 'Blue Monday' and known as one of the saddest days of the year, we wanted to remind you of all of the brilliant things taking place at Upper Batley High School, so you can feel the buzz today rather than the blues.
Our learning is all online with teachers and learners following their usual timetables just working remotely. Google Classroom is buzzing with activity as our learners take part in live lessons, watch our recorded lessons and take part in a wide range of different activities. Our school minibus is out and about delivering hampers and a variety of books and learning materials. Please give the bus and our staff a wave if you see us in your street. Our Bistro continues to prepare delicious meals for the learners who are on site, and we are delivering books to boys for reading and relaxation, plus you can call our main reception to book in a timeslot to visit our community library. Our whole staff team is just at the end of the telephone or only an email away if you want to contact us. We are here for you always!
Everyone is feeling the pressures of lockdown, but we must all continue to do whatever we can to keep ourselves and each other safe. Batley is all about beds, biscuits and a brilliant education for boys.
