E-Safety at UBHS

Student are regularly updated with comprehensive e-safety guidance throughout their experience at the college. We deliver key messages via our e-safety lessons as part of the Computing curriculum. Assemblies, Aspire tutor time programme and AC (Alternative Curriculum) days are also used as opportunities to update students on e-safety. An Assistant Headteacher is a CEOP accredited trainer and ensures students, parents and staff within the college receive appropriate advice and guidance.

The college has a secure network and ICT facilities that filter our internet and email systems to ensure students and staff are safe when utilizing the college’ ICT systems.

We are committed to raising e-safety awareness amongst our parents and local community, and regularly hold training sessions to provide advice that will assist you keep your child safe when using ICT devices at home.
